What are Parabens? Parabens are synthetic preservatives used in cosmetics and personal care products, and can give many people allergic reactions. There are many types of Parabens such as, propylparaben, methylparaben and butylparaben; these are synthetic preservatives commonly used in cosmetics and personal care products like shampoos, skin creams and deodorants.
