Oway Global Ambassador Contest
Dust off your favorite formulas and grab your favorite Oway products, stylists…we have a challenge for you!
For the first time ever, Oway has rolled out a worldwide competition in search of a Global Ambassador.

The winning country stylist will partake in the annual ECCO fashion show, be featured in the Owayans 2020 book and will be presented with a prize on-stage in front of the Oway world (in a location that is TBD, but sure to be fabulous).
This competition is the first of its kind and will be well worth the work. Apart from boosting your craft and your salon business, you’ll get to reap the unlimited rewards of representing the brand we all love.

WHAT TO DO
- Take a look at Blue Tit x Oway OCEANS fashion collection for Owayans 2019 here and use them as inspiration for your project.
2. Then, create a cut and color based off of the Blue Tit x Oway OCEANS fashion collection theme. The focus of your work should be on the color.
3. Capture three (3) original images of your work: a close-up, style change and full-length shot. The close-up and style change need to be strictly head shots and showcase details of the hair (see samples on left).
Be sure to describe how you created the look—the coloring technique, all Oway products used and the process to create the style and color.
If you want to do some retouching, you are free to use Photoshop or your preferred platform, but only for correcting imperfections. You can’t retouch the color in any way or add any elements.
The nitty-gritty
When preparing and executing your submission, keep these rules in mind.

- Images must be original.
- Use ONLY Oway products.
- Keep color the focus of your style and shoot.
- Do not use any hairpieces or extensions.
- Models must be of age.
- Photos must be in color and taken on a plain background.
- Submit photos in jpg., jpeg. or tiff. format
- Resolution needs to be at least 300 dpi.
- You can only submit three images and register once.
- Don’t forget to sign the set of rules and image copyright consent form.
Dates to remember
Deadline for submission is on November 15, 2019. Finalists from each country will be announced on November 29, 2019.
A Country Winner from each country that applied will be announced January 15th, 2020.
Country Winners will go on to present their work to a jury selected by Oway at ECCO 2020 and this jury will nominate the winner of the Global Ambassador contest!
