Four Essential Oil Blends Your Salon Needs Right Now

As holistic hair stylists, our clients don’t just come to us for a cut and color. They go to us expecting a stress-free, relaxing salon experience. And the only means to achieve this is to engage as many senses as possible.

Keeping your salon retail displays easy on the eyes and playing soothing music are great. But it’s also essential to engage the sense of smell. Having a space that smells fresh, clean, and chemical-free is instantly calming. And there’s no better way to do that than diffusing aromatic essential oils.

What are Essential Oils?

Essential Oils are concentrated extracts that contain all the healing compounds and natural chemicals found in plants, thus providing countless benefits. From eliminating odors to reducing stress and anxiety – essential oils can be used for various purposes.

We created four essential oil blends which we tailored specifically for every client need.

ENLIGHTEN

Uplifting Essential Oil with Litsea & Indian Orange

This essential oil blend combines organic citral essences from Indian Orange and Litsea. Native to Southern China, Litsea cubeba has antifungal and antibacterial properties which make it suitable for treating external and internal infections. But what makes it so popular in Asia is its very citrusy scent which closely resembles Orange and Lemon but with hints of spice and cinnamon.

When combined with the equally aromatic Indian Orange and Grapefruit, Litsea creates an invigorating scent that gives the mind and body a healthy boost of energy. Perfect for those long, tiring days when you need to refresh.

FOCUS

Intelligent Essential Oil with Italian Rosemary & Mint

Let’s face it. We all have those days when we can’t keep our wits about us. Essential oil blends that contain Rosemary and Mint are highly effective in promoting mental clarity.

Studies have shown that because of their positive stimulatory properties, Rosemary and Mint can help increase brain wave activities, enhancing alertness and cognition.1

DETOX

Detox Essential Oil with Thai Lemongrass

Popular for the delicious, citrusy flavor it brings to any dish, Thai Lemongrass is so much more than a cooking herb. Its extract has powerful antioxidant properties that can eliminate toxins externally.

When added with essential oils like Organic Sweet Orange, it can be used as a natural and safe air freshener and deodorizer. Unlike synthetic air fresheners, this essential oil blend absorbs pollutants in the air, then replaces them with a cool, natural citrusy scent.

RELAX

Calming Essential Oil with English Lavender & Chamomile

Among the many essential oils, Lavender and Chamomile are arguably the most popular. Their mesmerizingly sweet aromas have been clinically proven to treat many nervous disorders such as anxiety, depression, and even sleep problems.2

Their anti-depressive and tranquilizing properties help balance and calm the nerves. So when a client is having a rough day, diffusing Relax Essential Oil blend would instantly help them relax.

Our Simply Organic Signature Series are highly concentrated pure organic essential oils. They can be diffused or applied topically but we highly recommend diluting them with a carrier oil to avoid dermal sensitivity and irritation.
