April is around the corner which means Earth Month is upon us! At Simply Organic Beauty, we take pride in sourcing and vetting brands that champion our ethos and drive to protect the planet. That’s why we want to share with you the strides our beauty brand partners are making not only to produce incredible products but to make the world a cleaner, more beautiful place.

Original Mineral

O&M’s mission has always been to reduce chemical overload, freeing stylists and clients alike from interaction with harsh chemicals and replacing them with natural extracts and active minerals. That’s why they have introduced brand-new formulations for their care products!

These new formulas contain a natural amino acid base cleanser which is milder on the scalp and provides a luxurious foam for a super rich and creamy lather.

Plus, they’ve committed to switching their packaging to post-consumer recycled plastic in an effort to reduce harmful environmental waste.

Paper Not Foil

In an industry known for single-use, Paper Not Foil has been at the forefront of the eco-friendly beauty tools movement. Created in New Zealand, PNF is the world’s first reusable and biodegradable eco-alternative to hair foils and plastic wraps.

In addition to being eco-friendly, this revolutionary product is 100% tree-free and instead made from upcycled construction waste that is transformed into a strong, thermally-conductive material. Once disposed of, it simply turns to durst with absolutely no detriment to the environment or wildlife.

Intelligent Nutrients

I-N is one of the newest brands to join the Simply Organic family. They rely on science-backed techniques never before seen in the industry. In fact, they’ve implored the use of science to create the optimal packaging to meet the needs of the consumer and the planet.

With help from the leading environmental organization BWE, they measured packaging material’s impact on human health, resources, and ecosystems. I-N has opted for infinitely recyclable glass, as well as post-consumer recycled and plant-based materials, to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and produce less waste.

I-N holds themselves to the highest standards by seeking third-party certification. In addition to their extensive certification list, they received B Corp certification last year, making them one of just over 6,000 companies to qualify for this honor.

Simply Organic

Simply Organic professional organic salon products have been formulated in the pursuit of the health and wellness of stylist and their clients. Understanding that what you put on your scalp and skin is as important to your health and wellness as what you eat, our products have replaced the harsh and harmful chemicals found in traditional salon products with certified organic ingredients, rich nutrients, amino acids, and essential oils.

Oway

Biodynamic, organic, and fair trade ingredients are the number one priority when it comes to Oway color, care, and styling products. In an effort to reduce environmental waste, their packaging is made from infinitely recyclable glass and aluminum. Oway’s care for the planet goes deeper than just manufacturing. Since 2020 they have committed to maintaining a 100% carbon-neutral company.

Solidu

Solidu is one of the most innovative beauty brands on the market. Based in Lithuania, this unique brand is creating beauty bars that reduce waste by allowing consumers to use the entire product. This prevents the leftover product from being discarded.

Once consumers are done with the product, their packaging can skip the landfill and head straight to the backyard. Composed of starch, bamboo, and charcoal, users can simply place the packaging in the compost pile or garden. After 45 days, the composted remains can be mixed into fertilizer or animal feed as a carbohydrate source.

MyVeg

MyVeg believes that the cyclical and harmonious rhythm of nature deserves to be honored and respected. This is why they’ve opted for raw material suppliers and active ingredient extraction methods that use renewable energy sources and reduce CO2 emissions.

All of their products are formulated with a high-quality blend of pure, 100% plant-active ingredients that meet food-grade safety standards. The rich, wellness-focus formulations and sustainable packaging promote the health of the hair, scalp, mind, and planet.

Golden Hour Botanicals

With a drive for innovation and a passion for clean beauty, Golden Hour Botanicals leverages organic, plant-based ingredients and sustainable packaging to reduce its carbon footprint. Full ingredient transparency gives consumers the power to make the right choices for their skin. Their minimalist approach to beauty and focus on performance ensure users get the best results possible.
